I am a part time primary school art teacher and full time mum to two wonderful children.
I love my job teaching art to children and have also always loved drawing. However, until recently, I struggled to find time to focus on my own artwork. During the 2020 lock-down, I took advantage of the extra time at home to work on creating and developing my own artwork.
Creating art work brings me joy, especially when I am creating it for others to appreciate and to enjoy. I now make time to create each day and I am so much happier for it!
Recently I have also started illustrating my own stories and I hope to publish a children's picture book that includes my own artwork one day.
